Dupecia 0.5mg Tab is used in the treatment of hair loss and benign prostatic hypertrophy. This drug acts as a 5-alpha reductase inhibitors which blocks enzyme that is needed to change testosterone to another hormone. This conversion of testosterone into another hormone causes prostate to grow and causes difficulty in passing the urine. Dupecia helps in curing this and finally it gives relief in hair loss.

There are some major side effects caused by this drug which are decreased libido, Decreased semen volume, Impotence.
